They're phantoms we love to Forget-- just passing Shadows
We each have the power of Invisibility
We Fade away when no one notices
And in our Solitude, we wish for someone who Sees--
Someone who is bold enough to meet our gaze.
Who'll be that Beacon we'll remember forever--
A hand up in the dark.
Someone who lifts the veil from off our Eyes
Until we can see at last--
But then the moment has passed...
With new sight, the whole world is full-
With Beauty, Love, and Sorrow
With Faces Longing to be Seen
I can See you,
But can you See me?
