the skies cried as
she wiped rain from her eyes
& she was frozen in time
don't gaze into her lying eyes
the deepest icy fires
don't seek her lips at the end of days
or you'll be frozen in time
shrouded in crystalline memories
of the bitter taste of immortality
deceiving Death; tricking fate
but caught in the sands of time
